so the way i would play this army matters a lot on what the oppnent has thats a threat but i plan for the shades to mind tap either charge or venom from kymesya.
That's a pretty cool army, but you have a problem. Apprentice folio has a capacity of 9. Disbelieve has a page count of 4. Deny has a page count of 6.
6+4=10
Meaning you can't put both deny and disbelieve into the Apprentice folio.
Solution: Trade Elydia in for a Channeler and get yourself a slightly larger spellbook. Then if you have an imp or some other cheap magespawn, you could throw that in and voila! You would have a harraser that could be summoned infinitely.
Those are just my thoughts and observations, I hope this helped.
I agree that you should take a larger spellbook. However, I'd suggest dropping the *Shade and the Apprentice Folio for the Tome of Brass. Fill the Tome of Brass with Call Familiar x2, Archer's Aim and Shadow of the Assassin. Now you have 2 familiar Solonavi Shades that get recycled until Elydia gets eliminated, they each have vampirism and they can mind tap Vampirism from eachother for 2 clicks of healing on successful attacks. And as you said, when they aren't attacking they should basing an opposing fig and tapping Venom anyways.
Well, if you don't have a second Call Familiar spell, then a good substitute for Elydia (staying pure faction) is the Channeler from Nexus. Instead of having two familiar shades, you can have one familiar shade and bring MS so she can summon it back. The only reason I prefer Call Familiar is because it doesn't require an action. The down side to taking the Channeler is that I think Elydia packs more of an offensive punch. Yes the Channeler starts with that 11 attack and 3 damage, but Elydia's Bound and her Oracle of Rokos sub-fac give her more of a punch even if it is an 8cc att and 2 damage.
If you do substitute the Channeler in, you have 18pts more to spend. I'm only familiar with 2.0 figures, so for 18pts, I would be left with either a gremlin (any rank), or the *Blackwing. If you take a *Gremlin, then you still have enough pts for a CoS or PoD (but you only have one fig that can weild a PoD so there's no point in taking a second one). The ***Gremlin is exactly 18pts and can push and DT and still have venom. The *Blackwing is nothing spectacular so I wouldn't even consider using it.
I'd probably end up going with the ***Gremlin because of it's fantastic harrasser ability.
