I was at my local venue the other day (the only one in town, BTW) and talked to the owner over a couple of games of HC. He said that he wasn't going to carry SR figures since there seamed to be little interest. (No big surprise there. It is a comics shop and only carries HC, and only holds HC tourneys)

So, I decided that I no longer care about supporting my local venue and ordered 2 full sets of figures. I figure that if I have 2 sets I can get people to play, since they won't get the figs themselves.

If not, then I guess it's back to playing with myself....

net, just give me a ring if you have no one to play with, and ill buy and of the figs you havent opened yet ok? (So dont ruin those seals!) I know your pain, i have a whole bunch of MW:DA sitting around with no one to play with.

Well, I'm probably gonna break em all open. I figure that if i have enough figs, I can get a couple of people to play without seriously limiting the play options.

I guess we'll see what happens in a week or so....
