Looking through the figure stats section I noticed that the promo figures seem to have different stats. Can anybody who has both a promo and retail version of any of those figures confirm whether this is indeed the case?

Yes, they do have different stats. I suppose that they decided the units needed a last minute twinking after they created the promo's. My guess.

And where did these figures come from?

I got mine at GAMA in march and some were given out at ToyFair in february.

Also battlemasters, warlords.. etc. etc. can order a demo kit with their points from wizkids through the point redemption system.

The kit includes the 4 promo figs.

The figures that I got from the demo kit (Kyushi and Street Deacon) are the same as the retail figures....

hm. maybe they changed them out. did you still get the other two tho?

Yeah, I got Karkov and Midnight.....The Street Deacon does have a sticker for his starting dice, so I guess the original dice needed changed....but I checked their stats and equipment with what is on Wizkids site and they match up...

Does the regular release Street Deacon have the odd blank pistol?

My Promo Deacon includes the pistol (same as the one Silver Max comes with) but with no points/dice labeling and no die.

Just curious if this bit of gear was corrected or included for fun w/ no game function.

Nope, no blank pistol with my release Deacon. No pistol at all. :)

We compared the promo, got at GAMA, Kyushu with the series one fig and the stats were slightly different.
