leave the counters in the overlapped position and reset the plane figures as best you can... the marker tokens placement is what counts and what you plot future movement off of
Your plane dies when he collided with you and he rolled the critical miss on the piloting :) Our favorite bad die roller now loves this game cause he has a new strategy. ram other planes and then critical miss (his favorite die roll anyways :) ) so that he blows planes out of the aitr that way :)
had it happen to me 2 times in one game i failed one collision and he failed one crits both the where at least 5 collisions in that game and nither of us was trying it was just and close little space and we where getting used to the movement sys...
A quick qustion on this topic. If player1 and player2 colide and P1 fails(1 click) and P2 criticals (P1and P2 take a click). Does P1 take two clix before continuing the critical colision?
If both critical do they start off with 2 clix of damage?
good quesrtion, we ve just been going with the crit, not the other miss, but lemme look at the rules and see iif theres any wording...
Im back, no where does it say "in addition to" so i think it supercedes the regular miss procedure.. otherwise the one who didnt crit is penalized worse than the one who crit
Can I just get clarification here...
If two of your own planes end up in the same spot they don't collide... but only if they're both Broadway Bombers, or Hollywood Knights or whatever? I'm not so sure that makes a lot of sense.
Should it not be that your own planes cannot collide with each other irrespective of which squadron the model started out as?
"Planes in your squadron that share THE SAME SQUADRON SYMBOL cannot collide with each other." [emphasis added by me.]
That represents the fact that they fly together alot and know the same flight techniques, as opposed to a unit of Bombers being assisted by a Red Skull, who may know HIS squadron's formations but not the Bombers...
yeah yeah... bah! But what about those of us who are making custom squadrons, repainting existing planes? At the moment I'm thinking of a squadron of Vampires and Firebrands for example, all repainted to match, etc. I don't want to change the dials, but assuming they've been with said squadron for yonks, why should they collide just because their original planes were from different squadrons?
Another example, I'm looking forward to flying Peacemakers, but having the entire squadron full of double-hull planes (since the Red Skulls will have the Peacemakers and Kestrels as their planes) rubs me the wrong way - I'd rather have a mix, but to do so means I'm penalised re: collisions.
(*sighs*) Dagnabbit... Won't stop me doing it, it'll just annoy me a bit (*grins*)
With my repainted Heroclix (I've made a bunch to represent H.A.M.S.T.E.R., the 'clan' I spearhead at freedomreborn.net), I at least have enough variety that I don't have to worry about mixing good guys and bad guys, so I avoid the whole mixing sides controversy there. Looks like I don't get to do that with CS.
