I have a favour to ask of anyone who can help me out here...
An associate from Freedom Reborn and I were chatting and realised the potential of making a Crimson Skies mod for our fave game, Freedom Force... but if we're gonna make meshes for the planes, we need some more visuals.

Is there anyone out there with something along the lines of blueprints or plans of planes like the Fury and Vampire? Something like a top view, side view, front view (possibly rear and undercarriage, but not as vital)...

eeek i don't know if any such thing exist ya might have to purchase the metal models and build them for your visual refference. seeing as i am not well informed on game mod design i don't know if even that would work for ya.

I spotted one of the books on ebay that had stats, etc for a handful of planes, but I have no idea if it has diagrams along the lines of those I need...

I believe there is in the orginal CS box set. The Air Action booklet Planes of North America. I shows all the planes with a top, side and front view of the first 13 planes.

Sorry just checked, Aircraft Manual, Behind the Crimson Veil, Pride of the Republic all a plane designs showing the top, side and front view.

The CS video game for the PC does have some blueprints for the plans in the build a plane screens.

Don't know if that will help, but it's all I know of....:grin:

I know I can get the PC game for $15CAD at Future Shop, so that might resolve that issue...
