OK, I think that MLB Clix might be cool, but I think that WK needs to work on something that will make the game awesome.

Let's get people interested in old school players as well as the modern guys....Imagine, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, Satchel Paige and Babe Ruth on your MLB line-up. How cool would that be?

So I think the more people that we get to request, no DEMAND this, the better off the game will be!

Oh yeah, and let's get them going on an NHL Clix too....

It would be really hard for them to do that, as those players are no longer in the players association. They would have to talk to someone representing them/the players themselves to get those.

But I bet plenty of people would buy them.

Stump, I'm guessing that if the older players are in a situation like the old time NHL players, they need the money and would probably be willing to license their likenesses.

And Typhoon, I'm sure plenty of people would buy them....

I second the demand for NHL clix, I'm not planning on buying any of the MLB figs, but if there was a NHL set I'm sure it wouid rival if not surpass what I spend on Heroclix.

But I'm sure we will see NBA & NFL sets before the NHL, I hope not but with my luck that's the way it will go.

Less interested in the Old-Timers, but NHL clix would be great!

If they make any NHLClix, I hope they can distribute them outside the US. They won't be distributing MLBClix outside the US. (Europeans might not be interested, but Canada has two MLB teams for Pete's sake!) And Japan would eat them up like candy! Big mistake IMHO.

NBAclix would be awesome, i hope. Until i see these things in play the jury is still out. But hope springs eternal right.

As a football fan I'd love to see both the NFL and NCAA levels of play brought to life in SportsClix. My signature showcases my sentiments!

People,

Major League Baseball will be a money making machine for WK and Topps for years to come. I will give you several BIG reasons why you don't ever have to worry ;
1. There are so many possibilites for sets and expansions. For example; 56' Yankee Set, 84' Cubs Set, 62' All Stars...do I need to go on? Topps has MLB's licence and permission to sell all of these products.There are infinite possiblites. (Think about SC Day at your favorite ML Stadium! Imagine your favorite All Star in a SC Model. Baseball has stats, history, legend and FANS! )
2. There are more sports fans than MK and HC will ever have. Even if people don't play SC, many will buy boosters just to have their favorite player sitting on their computer at home or at work. Remember; FANS = FUNDS! And I think Topps realized this.
3. Just as there are Baseball collectors; so will there be SC Collectors. Watch how fast Baseball Card shops start selling these. Watch how fast they will mark them up and sell them for ridiculous prices. The after market demand will be amazing. This game will create a whole new generation of sports collectors. LE's will go for insane prices. This will be a Shooting Star for Topps.
4. The Tournement play will be solid. This is akin to rotisserie baseball. Leagues can be started; players added and dropped. Again, the possibilites are limitless.

So I don't think WE need to send a message to WK; Topps has already done this. And the Legions of baseball fans will prove it.
I do have one caveat; This game will only flop if the rules system is bad and the figures characatures look bad.

I think the old timers of hall of fame legends of mlb clix would be pretty cool. Like Babe Ruth,Jackie Robinson,Willie Mays etc. heroclix wise they'd be uniques :)
