FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MLB SPORTSCLIX EXTRA BASES EXPANSION FOR MLB SPORTSCLIX ANNOUNCED
May 10, 2004 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc., makers of the best-selling MLB SportsClix®, and HeroClix® collectable miniatures games (CMGs), is proud to announce plans for MLB SportsClixExtra Bases, the first expansion for the popular MLB SportsClix CMG.
“MLB SportsClixExtra Bases introduces new players, rookies and trades that vastly increase the playability and collectable aspect of MLB SportsClix,” said Jordan Weisman, WizKids CEO. “With the outstanding success of SportsClix, MLB SportsClixExtra Bases will take the game to even greater heights.” In MLB SportsClixExtra Bases, players not yet in SportsClix make their debut, hot rookies will enhance any SportsClix game, and some players will appear in new, updated uniforms. The set contains 104 MLB baseball players.
An MLB SportsClixExtra Bases Booster Pack will contain three randomly selected, prepainted miniature figures, and carries a suggested retail price of $6.99. Booster Packs will be available at, hobby, and game stores everywhere in September 2004. An MLB SportsClix Starter Set is required to play.

I'm glad to see that it won't just be "Hot Rookies" and "players in new uniforms", but we will also get our Pettites, Wade Millers, Foulkes, Brian Giles, Corey Pattersons, and some of the many, many players that I can't think of off the top of my head.
