I've seen this kind of thread on a bunch of other forums and it's always a little fun.
Just tell us where you get your RMRealms name. It can be simple or quite cerebral and deep.
Nexuscron is the name of a Transformers character that I came up with when I was part of Transformers collectors club in my area. I liked the idea of the character and the name so I use it on forums.
I've always been a big fan of the Muppets (I use the Muppet Show Theme to remove offending songs that get stuck in my head :)). The warrior came from, well, being a war gamer. So, two things that tend not to mix work well for me (hey, you got your chocolate in my peanut butter).
Teach is the same as I used on the Pirate Realms. Blackbeard's real name was supposedly Edward Teach. Used the same nom de mer for simplicity. Time for some space pirates anyway.
Mine actually comes from way back during mkrealms.com early days. A war mage in the game named Magus was a favorite of mine. So I just added War to the Magus.
A pariah is an outcast, an unwanted one, like me<no worries mate> I made the intentional misspelling incase the ultra-cool name was already taken, but so far no prob! It is the pilot nickname I decided I'd want after I saw Top Gun the first time many moons ago. Annyway, I use it everywhere except ebay. Cs realms, Psm Realms, here, Wizkids, everywhere. :)
I got my name when I first entered WK gaming. I started with Hero Clicks and when I registered on the WK site, I wasn't feeling all that creative or inspired. I decided to keep the name for simplicity's sake so that I could be id'ed on all the forums. I've since gone on to MW, which I am now not as into, MK which I will be riding out till the very end and beyond, and I really like the look/feel of Rocketmen so I plan to play it every now and then.
My name was originally a Crimson Skies character that I played in the tabletop game for quite some time; when the CSRealms site shut down, I just reused it. Blake Radisson, Space Pirate sounds just as good as Blake Radisson, Air Pirate, I think.
from Greek syzygos yoked together, from syn- + zygon yoke.
the nearly straight-line configuration of three celestial bodies (as the sun, moon, and earth during a solar or lunar eclipse) in a gravitational system
Oh yeah, doesn't matter why I know the word, as much as some trivia kook once asked a group what was the only English word with 3 'y's in it. It was great to know the answer, almost as good as the look on his face.
When I heard about Rocketman and looked over the Wizkids website, I thought "wow a neat idea, too bad I'm a poor college student," but then a wonderous thing happened: card gallerys.
Within two days, I had a complete proxy set of Rocketmen printed on neigh-indestructable dye subliminal paper. The folder I used to store the ships was named RokkitRogues (Rokkit like Dakka Dakka, if you know what that means and Rogues because of the 'borrowed' nature of the project).
Since then, about 3 weeks ago, I actually have bought several boosters of the game, though most of my fleets are still ghettofied.
