Has anyone ever tried getting the assorted ship types to scale? The cruisers appear to be on a different scale from the rocketships and all the types of fighter look like they're on different scales.

Pretty much every ship is at its own personal scale. This is an iconic set, not a representational one.

The Rocketships and the Fighters are about to scale with eachother. The Cruisers should be about x2 as big.

I see fighters as having a large cargo/crew/boarding party area, and the Rocketships from the cartoons are not that much bigger. Just look at the door on the side.

So with a scanner, printer, spraymount, foamex/thick card, some image software and a scalpel... you could maybe make scale versions of the bigger ships?
