I tossed out all my wrappers when I opened them, gah. I coulda completed my statue collection, grr.

Too bad checklists don't count...I kept most of the rules packs.

I threw out a bunch of packs and stuff, but upon checking today, found six wrappers, and reciepts enough to cover 'em......

What is 'statue collection' and use of wrappers? TIA

When Spanish Main first came out, WK made some small busts (ie statues) of some of the characters. They also had some LE ship cards made. These busts and ships were given out as tournament prizes. Now WK has a promotion whereby you send them the foil wrappers from your Pirates packs and you can get the busts and LE cards.

Everybody is saying "D'oh" because nobody keeps the foil packs longer than the time it takes to open them. If I (and everyone else) had known WK would have this promo we'd have kept the wrappers. I pretty much have 3 full sets right now, so I don't think I'm gonna buy more packs just to get the busts.

might be able to find a few wrappers around the house but what about receipts. Unless buying from big store, rarely ever get one. usually buy from local game store and open right there. wouldn' t they figure if you have a wrapper, that you bought it somewhere.

Y'know...the more I think about this 'Plunder' deal, the more ticked I'm getting. I have th original pre-release poster that talks about the 'monthly Pirate Plunder' events at venues, where we spend the GOLD we win in games, not the stupid wrappers!

I cannot believe WK is messing with its players. I say, "Wizkids, take our gold!"

I think that's WHY WizKids is doing it....

Everybody has gold, not everybody has wrappers and reciepts.....

they probably don't have a lot of 'em left, and therefore, anticipating demand, are rationing them......

I'm up to 8 wrappers, and counting....1/3 of the way there! :D

And I seem to recall a huge uproar from players that they were going to buy stuff from Wizkids and then turn around and give it back (the gold), and so WK quietly dropped the whole idea.

I say boycott pirates 'till they drop the reciept requirement!! *haietess*

I would much rather give up packs then gold. You can use the gold, but your just going to throw the wrappers away. And you can always ask for a reciepts evenif they don't immeditely give it to you.

I'm up to 11 packs, almost at the halfway point.....can't wait until I have my set! :D
