I bought 4 tins to give away as Birthday and Christmas presents. I also bought the 6 different picture tins for myself. Have you gone to Walmart or Target for the Pirates of the Revolution Game box? I bought 4 of them.

I've only seen them in one of my 2 local Targets, and none of my 3 Walmarts. Didn't buy any, though. I just got into Pirates, and I'm working on finishing my set of Spanish Main before I move on to the others.
IDK about the tins, I havn't seen one yet, but the Boxes are a good deal. They have a unique to thew baoxe ship assembled in the window of same. They have goos ships and crew. I even got a couple of Rev ships I didn't already have! :)

The collector tins can only be found/purchased at Toys R Us.
Four game packs and a storage container for $10 is a good deal.
The tins are friggin' beautiful. Very nicely done. Unfortunatly I don't need any of the cards in them so spending $10 to just get a tin is a bit out of range for me. The tins are well worth the price though. Good job Wizkids.
Now I might but a starter pack if I could find the one I wanted. Even then I may have to wrestle with my conscience on whether or not the Franklin is worth 10 bucks to me. ;)
About the Revolution boxes. Be aware that the cards that come with the assembled ships are more than likely not the same cards that the ships were punched out of. I placed my ships back in their cards, and none of the pieces came out of the cards in the box.
Obviously there was an assembly line here. And they didn't keep the assembled ships with the cards they came out of.
I have found the tins at Kmart as well, here in Ohio... It seemed that the
Toys R Us had them all except the chick. Made me wonder if maybe
they were being "PC", so I went on a search to find her...
Interestingly to note though, I have opened 4 of them and pulled 3 El Garante from them! (2 of them from Kmart and 2 from Toys...)
Coincidence?
I pulled a Calico Cat (which I didn't have!!!)
also 2 UT (homemade flage, and sextant- the sextant I didn't have either).
Plus a couple of other reare ships I already had- but will make for nice trade goods.
I haven't gotten any of the tins yet, but I did get the Revolution Box with the american ship Franklin in the window. I pulled some pretty decent ships, especially since I really didn't get too many Revolution packs. I even pulled a Consitution, which I was really excited about.
I bought one the other day at an ALCO in Nebraska. It was the first I've heard of them. I'll have to have my sister check the Toys R Us where she's going to school for more. I'm going to buy the rest of the tins at the ALCO tomorrow.
When did these come out? Are they going to keep doing this? (I like the idea!)
I've been picking them up. It looks like I'm the only one buying them around here. I don't need Spanish Main but I can use the Revolution. I also like keeping my cards in the tins now. Makes them a lot easier to find.
My brother pulled a Titan, a Swallow, an El Garante, a Le Soleil Royal, a Snipe, a Zephyr, a Calico Cat, and an Admiral Morgan out of 2 tins.
I haven't been able to replicate that so far, though I have seen a number of duplicate or near duplicate packs. I've found they tend toward single factions of crew. So far I have 5 pirate explorers and 4 captains, 5 english explorers and 2 captains but only 1 of each for the Spanish....
