Good afternoon all. I recently came into a bunch of Spirit Cat units and I’ve been itching to play them. Here’s what I’ve come up with:
Rising Sun
Arzu
Supercharger
NC Monocycle x2
SC Hoverbike
SC Shock Troopers x3
SC R10 Transport
SC BE107
SC DI Morgan x2
SC Long Tom

I would swap out the hoverbike for a third monocycle if I had it and that would give me the 2 points needed for 600, but this is what I have.
I’m hoping to use the tank formation and Arzu together to crack any RHDM I encounter and then separately if there isn’t one. The mono/hover squad it to slow things down so I can hit from range. The shock troopers can be used for either slowing things down or a capture attempt. Of course the Long Tom keeps things dancing. :devious:
Good to see you putting those Kitties to good use justgeo. Knwing generally what you have to work with this looks pretty good. It may not beat the larger collections out there but it's a very good start. I can't think of anything I would change. Some things to look out for though are a Bishop, ATVs, and maybe some better gear for Rising Sun.
PS: Make sure you're at least 6" from that Long Tom pog at all times. Never fun to hit yourself. On the contrary however it is fun to watch soemone try to dodge the pog but still get hit.
I would use the NC FP for +2 energy range for any NC/SC army just to turn the heat up. one thought would be ,DO you really need a expensive R10 to lug around units with jump jets. I do the same thing myself but now I have to ? my own strat. . another vehicle you may consider is the pegasus hovertank with the 4pulse, that might be nice to have
:) Once I saw the 7AV on the dial and the 22 on the disc, I figured I'd have to place the pog behind the actual target.
Its best placed in the middle of all your opponents pieces (and about and inch to the left) and let the dice fly.:laugh:
Oh! one thing to remember,especailly if you have SC pieces. They have speed and life, try to rush your opponents pieces when possible. You can swamp them on their side of the field. I' ve done it alot before ,just watch the pog.

Right now my only two transports are R10's, the SC one and the DF one. So I'm a bit limited. :classic:
My reason for using the transport is to hopefully surprise some one with a quick 4" drop and then a 10" baseing move.
I might consider the NC FP if I had it, but with Rising Sun being a ballistic mech I don't see that much of a loss for not having it, plus it keeps me up on VC2 points.
Now, once I recall my :^^: NC's from their extended garrison duty (in storage) then I would be using that FP card all the time! (Once I get my mits on it...)
@pumakilla: I wondered it you'd recognise any one or not.:p About my only other option for gear would be decoy, which I would use but it would require me to break up one of the formations.
