The new distributer for wizkids has the davion action pack listed in there products its listed as NYA (not yet available) but it is listed so perhaps it will be released soon? (wittin a month??) only time will tell i guess

Its listed as more expensive then teh posiden action pack so expect it to retail about $5-10 more then the posiden did (if your store got those in, mine did but they went so fast i dont remember the price).

Anyways this is all just me digginf for information as i have been disapointed in wizkids lack of any offical dates on these action packs and just was happy to see that they apear to be in the works.

Not to dash people's hopes again . . . but the Mechwarrior: Outlaws set did show up briefly on some retailer order forms. And it got canned. I don't think that will be the case with the Davion battleforce - but just because it shows up on an order form does not mean that it will actually be sold.

But it probably will be along soon, which is a good thing.

There was something else that caught my eye in the Alliance Online form... It's labeled as "Mechwarrior Token Set with Coll Tin". I would take that to mean Collector's Tin; the part code starts with GF9, which might mean GF9 is coming out with another Mechwarrior exclusive item. For further proof, other items starting with GF9 include all 4 terrain sets they recently released. Just do a search for "mechwarrior" on the website and you should see everything...

Well from what I can tell....sounds like GF9 is going to do tokens with that NYA on thier...thats cool cause I want my RD and HS ones.....rofl

The difference in the Davion and Posiden is only 5 bucks.

Yes the differnece is only 5 bucks thats true, but generaly when a retailer marks it up they do it as a percentage so it will most likely be more then 5 bucks more then the posiden set cost (maybe not much, depends on the retailer i suppose)

Alliance also lists the retail price; not the distributors price. (The boosters all show for $9.95). The Davion AP costs the same amount as the CJF and RotS Battleforces for what amounts to be the same number of mechs.

Slight problem, Alliance is horrible for customer support and getting stuff from them. One of the two sellers here would order a case for me, and then get 1/2 of two different cases, or even 1/3 of three different cases, thereby giving me a snowballs chance in (insert hot place here) of getting a full case. Only once, with AoD did I get a full case that was from one case.

Yes, Alliance has occasionly short changed my venue, but how would this work with the action packs?
"You get two complete packs, one heavy, and one medium, and half of the pilot cards. We'll work really hard at getting you the rest of your shipment..."

Actually, I've seen these tokens. They had a few copies for sale at GenCon Inday last year, and a friend of mine picked up a set.

They are really, really sweet! They don't have faction insignia, but instead are labeled for infantry, vehicles, or Mechs. You can put an order token on a unit, and then replace it with a token that says "pushed." Mechs have a "shutdown" token. They are molded to go part-way around the base, rather than sit next to the piece. They are much harder to accidentally knock around that way, and perfectly indicate where a unit was before you picked it up to click it.

Needless to say, I am very, very excited about these! Maybe too much so . . . lol
