Tony here! Since our forums are still down for maintenance, I thought I'd drop by and let you all know the outcome of the WizKids Vs. Oregon battle that occurred this weekend. I'm sure there will be more in-depth reporting soon.

It was hard fought and well played, but at the end of the day, the Oregon contingent won the challenge. Not only did they successfully overcome all obstacles in triumphing over the WizKids contingent, but Clan Ninja Beaver earned the right to be an officially acknowleged clan in the Inner Acre, joining the ranks of Clan Fuzzy Bunny, the Divamonkeys, Clan Ganglemoose, the Eridani White Mouse, Clan Ganglemoose, and others.

We also had a great chaotic side event of around 16 players (I lost count after a while, we kinda took over the venue) battling it out in 4-player 900 point battles. Prizes were handed out left and right, and Jonas was sufficiently embarassed as a part of this event was his birthday celebration.

Gentlemen from Oregon... I salute you! It was great meeting/re-meeting all of you and your families. Massive shoutouts to Killroy, Cjlin, Trevor the Great, and Ponto for their work on the team format, which we hope we can keep using for further challenges (and there will be more, oh yes!) and some of the most enjoyable game play I have had in months. Props to Matt "The Rose" Sulham for riding herd over the side events. Wahoos ALSO go to Games and Gizmos (Redmond, Washington) for hosting us. Thank you to ALL who came to the event, whether from Washington or Oregon or other far-flung places!

And the Ninja Beavers have great team shirts. Just thought I'd point that out. You might see a recruiting drive from them soon...

One question is Clan Ninja Beaver an entire clan...or a Schzyophrenic TrevorThe ..? and all his personalities?:laugh:

There were four black shirts (Team Members) and I believe five white shirts (Auxillaries and famliy). So Clan Ninja Beaver is probably more than just Trevor and Trevor The Awesome and Trevor the .....

Four black shirts would cover the 4 Trevors (Great, notsoGreat, Almightly, the Awesome,and the Great Demon of Oregon -wait- that's someone else ;) ) I know of. And the white shirts could cover the screen names I don't know of on other forums...

Don't forget about TrevortheOkay...

Clan Ninja Beaver is currently comprised of a healthy group of Oregonians, with a few forum members having already pledge their allegiance. But our ranks are ever-growing. With this new foothold established in the Inner Acre, it will be only a matter of time before the formation of The Great Ninja Dam, and then our rise to power will begin! All fear the paddle tail!
