Not to split hairs, but this announcement dosen't relate to Mass Market. Mass Market would be like wal-mart and k-mart type stores. Diamond/Alliance sells to what is known as 'core market' (IE. hobby stores).

Unless you know more about Diamond/Alliance sales than I do, which certainly isn't out of the question.

Personally, I really don't see WKs going to the mass market for anything. My understanding of Wal-Mart's negotiation policies is that they pretty much require anyone they shelve to wholesale to them at pretty much variable cost. That's not going to make profit margins any higher unless it sells really well. Which I don't think will happen, as its a niche market.

They've been in the mass market for a while. Pirates has been there since about the first expansion (when the first set hit the mass market). I believe Rocketman was there, and Heroclix for a while.

It's never been a focus, but you could go to Toys 'R Us and get PotSM.

Ah, yeah, I meant as their focus.
