For those interested, there is a Comic Con in NYC. This is year #2 and it promises to be even bigger than last year! Last year sold out, and the Con event staff had to turn folks away. It was crazy.
Anywho - the following are events I thought folks who frequent this site might be interested in...

In addition to the events listed above, HeroClix, HorrorClix, and Battlestar Galactica™ Battle Royale events will take place from 12 noon–4:00 P.M. each day; as soon as we have eight players signed up for an event, it will begin.
Twice a day, a Battle Royale group will be chosen to fight the 2007 colossal figure instead of each other—for a chance to win an amazing prize!
As time and space allow, we will also be hosting pick-up games, so even if you can’t attend one of the events above, drop by our tournament area and ask. Signup for all events begins at least one hour prior to the event’s start time on the day of the event. Signup for an event ends as soon as the maximum player cap for the event is reached. All times listed here are the times the events will begin
I figure the "2007 Collossal Figure" will be Fin Fang Foom...
Any idea on what the point build is on the constructed events? I intend on being there saturday and sunday, I just hope that as a member of the Wizkids demo squad I get to play more than work.
already bought my three day pass. couldn't miss stan "the man" lee and the american anime awards. can't beat it, now battle royals and horror/hero, wonderful.

and they're gonna be using the 3d Temple Map by Gale Force? That totally looked so sweet...wonder if one could buy it???
Usually, the 3-D tables are set up at the booth area to pique folks' interest. They might demo on the table, but Tourney games would prob be played elsewhere. If you can go, I'd def stop by and check it out. Last WWE I demoed the Horrorclix stuff and participants got "souveinors".
BTW - In the past, those tables are custom-made for Cons and I think if I remember corrctly, run upwards of $1000.00. They are huge and expertly done! They look that good on web-pics? They'll look even better up close...
