So who else got their Queen?

I'm gonna play this thing next tournament, it looks so intimidating! Without the egg base, probably. I'm not spending 150 points on drones.

I opened up my Aliens today. I got the Queen and accompanying Aliens Set. They all look sooooo cool on the map facing...1 lonely Predator. Grrr - why on Earth would they wait so long to release the Arch-nemesis crew. That Queen is sick, sick, sick. Seriously - close, range, wherever. You're screwed if you face her! 'Course, it took me freakin' 8 thousand hours to open up all that tape. ...And that plastic stuff holding down the Aliens set?! AAARRRRGGGHHHH! What were they thinking with that stuff?!

Vlad is awesome as well, and the Castle side is historically accurate.

Personally, I think the Predators could take the Aliens. Or the Queen. But probably not both.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the next tournament is only 200 points. However, I'll gladly have my queen face your queen afterwards to see whose truly deserves the title of queen.

Any chance you could describe the dual-map goodness you got there?

I have mine but I've not played her yet. For those of you who have, do you think she can survive in a 300 point game or does she need support figures?

She'd definitely get swarmed. And a few lucky Slash rolls, she's all but done.

I'd think she could survive a 400 point with some cheap support.

Her best asset is being able to act turn after turn without any tokens. That just might be enough to win in a 300 format, but I doubt. You're still only attacking them once to their 3 attacks on the Queen.

She DOES have 25 clicks of life, though. That's more than just a few lucky Slashes.

But yeah, haven't used her by her lonesome, so I dunno yet.

Well all by her lonesome? She's S.O.L. on the haunted house map. Othermaps you should stand more of a chance. Not too mention you get +3 to twists.

I'll let you know how she does by herself friday.

I'm a proud owner of the Alien Queen Action Pack. Can't wait until I get my Cloaking Predator and my Predator Collector's Set. :D

Why's she SOL on the Haunted House Map?

She only needs to end her movement legally, not during movement. So she indeed can "burst" through those one-square wide openings.
