I'll do my best to describe the dual-sided map given away at NYCC the other day. Both sides can be played with either Horrorclix or Heroclix as there are Special Rules Descriptions on both sides. Basically, when playing Heroclix, one just ignores the victim-starter bloodstains... Both sides look fun to play on.

Map size is standard 20 x 30.

Side "1" - Stephen Brothers Carnival
1. Starting areas are in diagonal corners [M-P/1-4] and [A-D/21-24].
2. 2 large indoor spaces take up the remaining corners...
3. Large rectangular blocking space directly in middle of the map - Its a Ferris Wheel.
4. 4 smaller indoor spaces (no larger than 3x3).
5. 5 spaces (2x1 each) and 2 (1x5 each) of Hindering scattered around the map.
*This reminds me of the 3-D Summer Camp Map used to promote the game. Lots of places to duck in and hide around*

Side "2" - Castle Ruins
1. Starting areas are in typical spots - middle of short edges (2x9 spaces) of map.
2. 1 area of Indoor (4x5) along 1 long edge of map. 3 spaces of Hindering are within this Indoor space...
3. Elevated Castle walls run from 7P-7F down to 11F, Drawbridge is an entrance, then more Elevated at 14F-19F. Elevated then runs to 18J. Then, along row 18 are 2 spaces Blocking, then 2 Clear - these 2 lead into the Indoor space..., then 2 more blocking to edge of map again. For grounded figs, there are 3 spots to climb steps up onto the walls.
4. Did I mention the moat?! Water terrain varying between 1 or 2 wide spaces runs around the entire length (except 2x4 spaces of Drawbridge as mentioned above) of castle walls...
5. Hindering is bushes (6 areas) on the outside of the walls and crumbled stone on the inside (2 areas).
6. Special Rules:
A. Victim Bloodstains are simply ignored for Heroclix game.
B. For Horrorclix games, "Spaces inside the Red Boundary are Hindering for Movement and Blocking for Line of Fire purposes"

The castle side is very cool looking in my opinion, but I was hoping for something a bit more showy from the circus. Hopefully it'll be cooler once it's in my hands

Wow, the maps look totally awesome. Good thing I'm going to WWLA in three weeks. Hopefully they won't run out when I pick up Fin Fang Foom (when I win him :D ).
