November 1, 2007 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc. announces MechWarrior® Wolf’s Dragoons as the next MechWarrior release, scheduled for December 2007. The Wolf’s Dragoons action pack contains some of the most popular mercenary outfits in the MechWarrior game universe.
The Wolf’s Dragoons Action Pack includes a variety of powerful ’Mechs from the Gama Regiment, which every player can incorporate into their battle forces. Most exciting for MechWarrior fans, the release also features the foremost among Wolf’s Dragoons: the legendary battalion of Wolf Spiders! With their heavy clan OmniMechs and fierce warrior spirit, the Wolf Spiders command fear and respect on any battlefield.
“As we designed an action pack of combined arms, mercenaries offered the best fit since every player could potentially use these units. Additionally, mercenary units give us great freedom creating dials for different fighting styles,” says Kelly Bonilla, Game Designer for MechWarrior. “From that decision, Wolf’s Dragoons quickly followed. They’ve consistently featured in the BattleTech universe and are highly-recognized as a formidable mercenary group.”
I would like to see WizKids release the old units like the "Great" Dragoons Sniper artillery in the new colors. I think that would just rock don't you.
