I am 21 so I have been a reading comics for a while. Why do this games always go back and forth for time... I mean the angel card is angel the way he is now, but he Wolverine is in his old brown costume. I personal Like his old yellow and blue but my point is that they never say current. I play clix and I get some characters now and others then. I hope VS makes every version then I would be happy. I would love to have an arcangel. Plus Like Venom when he was bad(before he got his own comic). And no white queen mention as a telepath!


Still looking forward to this game and I am not ranting. Its more of something I have noticed! From reading the desing note everything sounds good! and just like in clix I well have to wait forever for cosmic stuff lol!

i agree. and i think thats why you can play 4 versions of a character. then you can choose which one works for you. i was concerned about "dead" heroes obviously look at my name. they said there will be "dead" characters also. i would kinda like to see the original Aquaman for DC. the old orange/green suit. anyhow i know where you're coming from. but i think their really gonna try to take care of the die hard comic fan this time. i've got a pretty good feeling about it.

Look at the Berzerker Rage Wolverine - he's much more up-to-date. There will be various vesions of each major character, so do't be woried about the 'back and forth' issue, as there's a good chance your fav version will be in there too =)

they'll probably even add a feral version of wolverine when he didn't have the adamantium...he'll probably be really hard to k.o. since his healing factor is crazy..

That all seems ok but I also see Heros to be out numbering the Villians. I mean Doom is a team. Lots of villians are single big guys. ARe they all going to have there own team?? If that happens not only will we have to wait forever to get tons of badies but we will never see alternate verisons of them. Baddies I am thing of Apocalypse, Super Skrull and of course Thanos!

DOOM and Brotherhod and Seintenels are all teams - the 'bad guy' teams outnumber the good guy teams 3-2.

Look at my confirmed/unconfirmed thread and you'll see how many bad uys have been confirmed - from the Brotherhood characters and Arcade to Dark Phoenix and Apocalypse...

I'm thinking that instead of teams the villans will be lumped into a rogue's gallery. For instance think of daredevil. In my memory there have never been a "sinister six" type group for daredevil, but you could lump all his villians into a kind of anti-daredevil team.

What I wanna see are different versions of characters with different team affilitations. So we see a brotherhood version of Rogue, and an X-man version...etc.

anti daredevil? that just sounds odd...since daredevil is a bit of a loner, i think most of this villians will be loners, like bullseye and elektra. Although, he does have groups against him...like kingpin and the hand...it's odd now that i think about it. i'd laugh if they make mysterio one of daredevil's villians just because his last big plot before he killed himself was against daredevil...

It's all a matter of perspective- if the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants is terrorizing a city and the Sentinels are sent in, then the 50 robots are the good guys.

I hope that's what they do. I want my Superman Enemies to be a team. And Green Lantern enemies too. He's got a pretty underestimated Rogue's Gallery.

The question is what to name them? *Insert Hero Name Here* Enemies is too vague and unimaginative. From what I've seen of the Doom team, it may contain other Fantastic Four villains who are not usually affiliated with Doom. This pattern could be followed for other Rogue's Gallery Teams, like Daredevil's being Team Kingpin, Green Lantern's being Team Qward, Captain Marvel's being Team Sivanna, etc.
