I went to my local game shop today and they told me I have to wait until the 19th before their shipment of Marvel Vs. is coming in.

This is unbearable!! I am reading about people opening up BOXES of these things, and all I am stuck with is my starter deck (which I am very grateful for by the way, thank you once again Vs.realms.) but I cannot stand it.

This is worse than waiting for Christmas as a small child.

Alright I have an idea, why don't I start a Nexuscron foundation? You don't have to donate money all you have to do is send me a booster packs.
For just pennies a day, you can help out this poor soul. And if I get enough packs, I will make sure they get distributed to other people in the same situation as me.

Look at him. Isn't he pitiful? Don't you think he deserve to know the joy of ripping open a pack to pull out a foil doombot?

If you are in the same postion as I am you can join the Nexuscron foundation. And even if we don't get any packs, we can help support each other until that day that seems so far, far away.........;)

well, i have opened two boxes so far and will be receiving two more on monday. monday! and i thought that was unbearable! thank you for showing me that there are other people way worse off than i am :grin:

Try waiting for the NFL draft, been waitin for like months and its becoming slower and slowerrrrrr, even on vacation now and its still going slow as HELLLLLL. Man and usually vacation goes quick. BTW any other NFL fans here? Im a giant fan if anyone else is heh

It is tempting, but I am a firm believer of supporting my local game shop. And since I have a mortgage, car insurance, and my wifes birthday coming up I can't afford to buy multiple boxes.

Even though I could buy online my sense of honor demands I suffer.

:( I hate to say it but local shops sometimes drop the ball, if they didn't order enough don't reward them for incompetence by waiting. You'll support them when they supply what the market demands and when you play in their tournaments. Online you can get 2 boxes for what a local retail shop is gonna charge you for one. I got mine online for $55 each (that's with S&H).

I felt bad for buying 2 boxes off of the Web and broke down and bought a box from my local card store. Cost of boxes online: $55, cost of box at local gaming store: $72 (with a discount!) regular price was $80! I think it is good to support your local stores, but sometimes, it can be pricey :)

Look for comic book/etc conventions in your area- I bought my cards at internet prices by buying them at a convention before any of the stores in my area got the cards

Thats funny!! I only have 2 comic shops in my area, and the only major comic conventions are about 4 hours away in Boston. Not much of a chance of me shooting down there anytime soon.
