Ok...Im trying to learn this game to the crossing of the T and the dotting of the I's.

When it says that I can have 4 of a card in my deck...does that mean that only one of them can be in play at once.

The army characters you can have 4+ in a deck. But for the non army ones can you have more than one out in play? EX:

I have Logan out...can I put another Logan out into play? Or do I have to wait till he dies to put another one in play?

When you already have a card named Logan in play, and you want to play a second card with the exact same name, then that card replaces the first Logan and the replaced Logan goes to the KO'ed pile.

So you can only have one version of each character card in play at the same time.(Excluding army cards)

only one of each character can be in play at once. This includes differefnt versions of the same character. The other cards can be used to power up the character. By discarding it adds +1 ATK +1 DEF. Or as you stated wait until the character dies and play it again.

So if I wanted to I could have 30 Sentinel Mark II out and not be breaking the rules?

Yep, it's legal. If you're actually willing and able to get out 30 Sentinel Mark IIs (or any army character), then more power to ya! :)
