Is tehre a more recent patch for apprentice that has the marvel cards with the card art as well?

Nope. At least I don't think so... I made a solitaire flash game of VS, and tried doing some networking to make it usable via internet, but got worried that maybe that'd get me in trouble.

If you mean the art for every single card, then no, because Apprentice doesn't support that. If you just mean the VS card backs and card faces that resemble the proper art then yes.
