It's a moot point. Even if Upper Deck did want to do it, Square-Enix would never allow it, as they are the single most arrogant, has-been video game studio in Japan.
that would be weird to see vid. games, but there are vid. games based on comics. and yes, there are enough anime tcg's to go arround(and most suck, just ask, i'll tellyou how, just name one).
but that would get more players which will generate more money for UDE to do more for us. so who cares. as long as they dont do any that already have TCG's
also remeber, anime does have comics; manga.
besides, i'd like to see a hellsing(not van hellsing) card set
if you dont know, ask some body

I hear this a lot (and not just about video games... movies, etc.), but I've seen that confirmed nowhere. I've looked over the UDE website and other relevant pages I can find and haven't seen anything about it only being comics. All they say is that we can cross over different universes and other companies may want to get involved. For all we know, they plan to work with many things and just chose comics as their "breaking in point".
Not saying I want them to expand, but it's not as impossible as some say. BTW, if you can prove me wrong and there is indeed some confirmation, I'd almost be happy. :)
