As you read this, images of the Spider-Man vs Doc Ock are being loaded into the Card List. The card images really add 'something' to the previously spoiled card text; which is something we've come to expect from the Marvel Origins set.
I am scanning them live, which means a couple things:
1.) I do have them in my hands.
2.) Product will be shipped out today to Winners of our "Spider-Man vs Doc Ock" Giveaway.
3.) Deck Lists can now be found in the DeckBuilder:
- Spider-Friends
- Sinister Syndicate
very dope if i do say so myself. im loving the 7d doc ock thats a pretty vicious looking picture. i really like rhino himself, and his picture very well too.
There are two kinds of art in VS, realistic and cartoony, and both are good only when assigned to an appropriate character.
Because Rhino is a big, dumb goon, the cartoony, angulated art works well for him as it does also for the 4 drop Doctor Octopus, which represents the character when he's in "I'm going to take over the world, mwa-ha-ha!" mode.
The Lizard looks like a sucker fish. I'm not sure how to feel about that.
Doc Ock bothers me, though. He looks like he's about to start bantering on about "Mr. Anderson".

MISTERRR ANDERSONN! HAHA!!
*high five biz*
yeah i agree with the caroony art styles, and how it makes some people look inferior. btw who are solo and prowler? i thought prowler was black guy in the red/black armor with the sticks. he was with nova and the bouncy ball guy alot
See, looking at Solo, he definitely should have had cartoony art, as he just looks silly realistic.

You seem to have missed the point, somewhat. I was trying to say it makes some characters look worse and some look better. The two I mentioned above it definitely helps.
Solo is a guy who teleports and hunts down terrorists, regardless of their motives or their country of origin.
Prowler was once a super-villain who's life's goal was to rob the Daily Bugle. He now dons his costume to fight along side the heroes of New York City if a gigantic disaster or something occurs.
Once again you guys prove that you are the superior site for all Vs. information. I cannot wait until I can get my hands on these cards and thanks to you I can almost picture them in my hands. Thanks again, VS-REALMS RULES!
Cool stuff. No really bad art in there. I'm a bit mixed on Rhino, the art is cool, but I would have liked to see him charging (you sort of get that in Alley-Oops! though). Kraven and Venom are great!
