One of the people I play against just brought this up, and I really hadn't thought about it, but it is interesting.
She Hulk "Jennifer Walters" text says "While She-Hulk is ready, she gets +2 attack and +2 defense." But in the rulebook it specifically states that to begin an attack, exaust target attacker. I said that she would still be 6/6 but he thinks she would only be 4/4 for the attack, since she is exausted to begin the attack. Any ideas??
It is a conditional contionous power, and as soon as it is no longer true, the power shuts off. So, if she is exhasuted for wheverever reason, she no longer gets the +2/+2 bonus.
In your example, if she exhasuted to attack, she would be 4/4.
Alright, I wasn't sure, but I figured it would say "while defending", but I wasn't thinking that the defender could be exausted, which would make the effect better if it just said while defending I gues. Thanks.
Cosmic Radiation being the preferred card for this. Declare the attack, exhaust her, play Cosmic Radiation and ready her. Now she is ready and attacking, making her a 6/6.
So...you could do all your attacking, and leave She Hulk for last, and then do that and attack all over again...hmmm...I never thought about readying her after declaring the attack.
What about her and team tactics if you exhaust her to give some one a bonus does it count as 6 or 4. I guess it would come down to timing and when team tactics checks the power of the charecter. any ine got any ideas?
Wouldnt she get the +2 +2 cause as soon as you declare the attack you get the bonus for the combat then u exchaust her so before she becomes exchausted she would get the bonus.
No the power checks during resolution, if she exhausts, she is only 4.
The reason it doesn't say "when defending" is because there is a character that when he attacks a character, the defender exhausts. I think it's an x-man. So he declares his attack, my she-hulk is forced to exhaust, and I'm 4/4.
