It's very cool reading all the posts about Vs. System. Many of us at UDE read the boards daily. We're way too busy building programs and designing fun stuff to post very often, but we're definintely paying attention.

I'm glad so many folks are enjoying the game. One of the things we are working very hard to improve is communication with everyone outside the corporate office. It's kind of hard to get excited about the new things we have in the chute, if you don't know about them...

Just wanted to give you a heads-up. There is a webpage that you might want to get into the habit of checking pretty frequently. www.ude.com/events

This page lists what cool exciting things we have coming up at conventions--and has links to other content areas on the www.ude.com site.

My team is going to be adding an increasing number of cool events and tournaments to the site in the upcoming days and weeks, so make it a habit.

In the mean time, I'll just let you know that www.ude.com/events is where you should expect to see an increasing amount of information about the upcoming sneak preview tournaments for DC Comics TCG. The Origins convention is not far away. A little more than two weeks, as I type. We hope to see many of you there, whether for the $10K tournament, the X-Men #1 tournament, or for the Sneak Preview.

I'll try to add a bit of info every day, as often as I can.
We are going to keep the surprises coming!

So thanks for the info, Mr. Elliot, Sir... um... Your Majesty. I don't really go to tournaments and the like, so it's kind of useless for me, but hey, I'm posting in a thread created by an Upper Deck employee. How awesome is that?

Here's a question you can pass along to your website runnin' buddies though. With DC's release drawing ever closer, I can't help but wonder when we'll get something worthwhile out of this URL. Granted the widespread picture is better than the nothing that was there before, but I'm getting impatient.

Haha! Man there needs to be an official UDE (Upper Deck Employee, not Entertainment) Net or some sort of capturing device. Something great and effective so we can keep one for all our questioning needs! Like maybe a bear trap, knockout gas, or that thing from Ghostbusters where when you step on the pedal they get trapped in a box! But anyway, always great to see posts by people who names are in back of the rulebook

I too love the fact that our lurkers are such hotshots, and...

Any word on when our UDE numbers will be active? I have spent over $200 on entry fees alone in the past six weeks and I still can't access my membership.

So, I guess we will be seeing more $10K Tournaments? Atleast, this is what I hope you are hinting to. With summer vactions happening, this would be a great way to get more folk interested in playing, in tournament, this is.

I sure would love to see one in the Northern Cali area.

Anything going on with UDE at the San Diego Comic Con?

I was just wondering that same thing (SD ComicCon). 99% chance I'll be there, can we get something good going there? ^_^ I imagine DC will be out by that time (late July), but perhaps a big tourney or something, hmmm?

We are finalizing details with the team at SDCC, so I can't spill the beans yet--but yes, expect something big and exciting.

You know what would be fun about a SD event? The SD Comic Con has a big costume contest each year. What if there was a VS tournament that the players had to play in character? Playing Doom control? you better get your green cloak and evil banter down. Playing Brotherhood? start packing away the tacos and Big Macs for your Blob costume. T

Any news on when the whole ratings system will be functional? It is pretty meaningless right now since basically no results are in and it looks like you guys are working on a new system rather than updating this one. Any information would be appreciated.
