Does anyone else beleave that Dc Origins will contain big money cards such as Savage Beatdown and Feral Rage were for Marvel Origins? I'd like to hope so.. It adds alot of flavour to trading and sets, when there's a few more saught after cards then others.
While i do beleave people tend to get out of hand as far as a cards value. Yes savage is nice.. But it shouldn't be going for 15+ rares in a trade.. that's just crazy.. Anyhow, Any guess as to what the big money cards will be?

I love that people are wasting their money on the super aggressive stuff, thinking it's the only way to win. Defense Decks are both effective, and cheap to build.
I expect to see a +5 DEF card (which would be unbalanced in the current climate of the game, since DEF is harder to get than ATK is) being a big one, or maybe another ATK booster.
The other big money cards are, I believe:
-Genosha
-Children of the Atom
you know Joe i was talking to my friends about a defense card that gives +5 def.
i think DC will have money cards. every set will have them. its just something that comes with a CCG. espcially in the first few sets. mostly cause they come and go quickly. look at magic and yugioh. the first sets have really powerful cards that are expensive now.
Tell you the truth, I cant honestly believe that Sabertooth, FR is worth as much as it is. oO
Savage Beatdown I can understand because it can be played in any deck, but for a card with a specific faction to be worth so much is mind boggling oO.
I suspect that the most valuable cards in the set will be a) cards that can be played in any deck (good synergy with existing decks or ones that lead to new archtypes for factions in the marvel set) b) High Defense Bonus cards/Card quality, drawing, filtering cards.

What else?
Boris
&
Signal Flare
Its pretty safe to say that these are money cards as well.
I hope there are monster cards like savage beatdown (of the wallet) and sabretooth (there goes the kids tuition) freal rage. I bought 2 boxes and got 2 of each and sold them and paid for the boxes (actually it was 2 boxes and three packs but whos counting). These two cards are like crackand if you have them you might as well be a dealer providing people with their fix to feed your's. It kind of like the circle of life from the lion king save for the fact I turned it into a big drug reference. Wonder if I can get a job at disney?
haha
my ol' history teacher actually connected the Lion King
to life and drugs and responsibility and stuff lol (FRC!)
we even had 2 write a small essay on it :p
i wonder what the big money cards will be 4 DC
but i doubt they'll hav a +5 def card
that seems pretty broken 2 me..
im thinking some kinda of drawing card
both AI and GK hav at least semi-drawing strategies
so mayb they will make some non-team-dependant draw cards
Hopefully Batman will be good enough to be a big money card.
I think the big money cards in this game will at first be plot twists which can be used for any team, and then as the game goes on, staple characters for each faction will begin to become very pricey as well.

I don't think that's the way it works. As of right now, pretty much anything that has, gets, or gives huge ATK, be it random and generic or team-stamped, is worth the big money.
I'm not sure, both Sinister Syndicate and Arkham Asylum seem to be leaning heavily towards characters special abilities and deviating from straight up attacking. I think we'll start seeing more and more decks that don't rely heavily on attack power, so the Savage Beatdown's of the world won't be needed in all decks.
I think readying cards will eventually be more valuable.

I agree with this one. So I have a beater on the table. I throw him at one of your character and he mops the floor with them. Your opponent says " Thank Hera that's over." Then you flip, draw, toss, exhaust a card that allows you to do it again. I would pay to see that expression.
