For the short and sweet answer, no. There is no card that is a must, or is even good, in every single deck.

There is only one card I can think of that would come even remotely close, and that is a common of all things. Acrobatic Dodge.

Some might argue that certain deck types have staples, such as FF needing Signal Flare, and Doom needing Faces of Doom. But that is outside the scope of your question.

Marvel has no Raigeki or Pot of Greed. All cards have drawbacks. Gamma Bomb is a Cost 9, Genosha needs to be KO'd.

The only card I see in 9/10 decks is Burn Rubber. I could see Savage Beatdown, just because it has no drawback. But its not even used in all decks.

FF Beats
The New Brotherhood
Doom
Xmen
Sentinels
Spider Friends
SS

And only the Sentinels and FF dont use those 10 cards.......

But thats just me.

Flying Kick, Savage Beatdown, and LOCALLY- Overload.

I prety much use Flying Kick and Burn Rubber in every deck. Relocation is a must for each of my decks as well.

I think Overload really is THE staple card out there. Mainly because of the amount of TNB decks, it's essential for stoping them.

Yeah, if I ever have a few extra slots in a deck, Overload is almost universal in them. With the popularity of pumps, and New Brotherhood deck, Overload rocks.
