Well, what can I say? Origins, just like Wizard World Philly had a fairly uneventful first day. I ran into docx, Kergy, and a ton of the Atlanta crew... not to mention stubarnes (who has been on the road for the past week). All in all, it was a good primer for the rest of the week?
"What of the DC Stuff Typhon?" you ask? Well, evidently that Booster Boxes of DC are rolling off the production line as we speak ... and just like the GIBYCBI Spider-Man vs Doc Ock starters, theyhave someone waiting for it to get packaged... then overnight it here. I REALLY hope they get it here so that we can start drafting!!! I know a lot of us are going to try to get a set together and break the whole thing for you guys that couldn't make it!
We'll be sure to get everyone hooked up once we get the info. Be online Saturday ... and I mean EARLY Saturday.
And the Preview? It's Bane ... Our favorite mindless twit.
Bane The Man Who Broke the Bat
Cost: 6
12/12
Loyalty. Whenever Bane attacks, you may KO target stunned character.
Boost 1: When Bane comes into play, he gets +2 ATK and +2 DEF this turn.
Rarity: Common
Overall not a bad card. I've added him to the card list, along with Lady Shiva. Enjoy!
Is it just me or does this guy have first pick written all over him. Even if I don't have the asylum characters to play him i am drafting him so my opponent can't have him.

I was going to let this one go, but I just cant. Mindless Twit? Do you know the story of Knightfall? This guy is a genious!! He planned this elaborate scheme to break out the prisoners of Arkham, watched and waited while Batman had to fight them all off and capture them all again, he juiced up the Riddler of all people with Venom and made him crazy(ier) than he already is, then when he felt the time was right, he swooped in for the kill. He played it like a chess game, and when he was done.....checkmate! Which ironically enough was one of the cards he had in overpower.
I AM DOOM, I noticed that too, but I came to the conclusion that it must be one of two things.
Typhon has said that he's not the biggest DC expert in the world, and it's possible his only prior knowledge of Bane was from the Batman & Robin movie.
It's also possible that he made the comment out of resentment, because everybody hates Bane. Like Doomsday, Onslaught, and all those Spider-Clones, Bane is a character known more for what he did than what who he is.

Very true, that movie definitley made Bane out to look like a complete moron, and that kind of aggravated me. Also, its true that he is more known for his accomplishment than how he did it.
On a side note, I didnt mean for this to come off like I was talking bad of Typhon or anything (I realized it kind of sounded that way after I finished writing it).
Please correct me if I am wrong but when it says "KO target stunned character" that means I do not have to KO the character I attacked, rather, I can chose any stunned character on my opponent's side, correct? I think this is an awesome ability if I am right. I'll attack your Unus, oh, and KO your stunned 7 drop Magneto too...
Well thats just it. His ability allows you to KO a stunned character when he attacks. That means the minute he gains the attacker status. Correct me if Im wrong but this means he CANNOT KO a character he stuns.
