Marvel Recharge was is still an enjoyable game. It's a bit tooooooo simple but still pretty good to play with. It's got simple game mechanics and is a good game for the younger audience. The art work (in my openion) is much much better then some of the art in the Spider-Man Doc Ock starter.
I have not heard of Marvel Redemption or Regeneration, but it could be those Geneon (or however they spell their name) game; which is designed for kids
Actually VS cards will not be sold at ToysRus or Wal-Mart. The good people at Upper Deck decided to support hobby and gaming shops by only selling the VS cards to them. It’s a brilliant and well thought out idea which I personally love.
I think they were just giving comic/gaming/hobby stores first crack. Everything in Wal-mart or Books-a-million or whatever will be standard.
Once they run out of 1st edition, then it goes to major market retailers.
target sells as well as suncoast (movie store) and i have found they have a box at my local gamestop (video game place) the only set that was hobby only at first was 1st edition now all the chains have the first edition in blister packs
Originally posted by God Of Plague I was trying to find Vs. Cards at Wal-Mart and not suceeding at all, they ordered like a box and never anymore.....
aAny way I came across a box called Marvel Redemption CCG
Inuagaration set, or was it marvel Regeneration?
Does this have anthing to do with VS> Or is it another game entirely. Seems confusing to have multiple Marvel CCG's out at once...
Heh.. Your making the same mistake 50%+ make when playing this game.. You refer to it as Marvel.. Marvel is the name of the set. Marvel Origins. The game we play is VS.
Oh and about wal-mart n stuff not having VS 1/e, that's not true at all. I bought most of my packs at Wal-mart. All were 1/e.
Darkblast bro, Trust me you can find 1/e VS packs at places like Wal-mart, But there in those plastic things.. (i think they call it a blisterpack when their hung up and not in hobby boxes)
Yea i understand your confusion though. See i didn't go looking for the packs at a wal-mart. I just happened to stop there to pick up some stuff for my dad, When i happened to notice it.
Up until that point i had only heard of Standard being issued to Retail stores, So that Hobby stores would have a chance to push alot of the product, considering they would get it weeks in advance compared to retail stores, But unfortunatly it wasn't true =/.
Anyhow, Im split on weither or not i like it, In one hand im supporting my local card shop by buying there. But in the other hand when my Local card shop runs out of 1/e i can allways goto a retail store and hope they have some. (And they both sell for exactly the same amount, So i make sure to buy at my LCS to support them first, until they run out of 1/e, in which i turn to the retail stores)
ugh.. I've babbled on for too long lol. I apologize about this post's length.
