Yes. Here is my thinking on the 2 drops (good question by the way. I went back and looked at why they are all in the deck.)
Toad- Decent stats for a 2 drop, but the attack is big. When playing him Savage Land is a no brainer. He will not stun because you can suck him back into your hand (also a good thought if you don't want to discard anyone else in your hand at the time.) He punishes and then he leaves. A great early attacker.
Avalanche- You don't put this guy in the deck for his stats. This is Brotherhood's first real defense against Doomstadt, Danger Room, Xavier's school and about every other location you can think of. Also, ask yourself this. If you play a mirror match and your opponent throws Avalanche and KOs your Lost CFity and Space Station would you feel better knowing you could do the same to him? i would.
Pyro- Pyro is the defensive 2 drop for BB. Aside from power ups he insures that the attacker is going to take at least three back. I say three because if he attacks and exhausts his last support row guy have a blast with that quicksilver as well.
Those are my thoughts. I am anxious to see other opinions on this as well.
Avalanche is a staple in my Brotherhood deck. Not many people like him, but I enjoy the knowledge that I can take out that Danger Room or Doomstat heck even Latveria if it's played.
Pyro is also great, take three endurance off please!!!!! If he stays around for a few rounds just keep knocing off those endurance points.
I'm not as high up on Toad as most but he does have his use's.
Of course my favorite character to play is Blob equipped with a personal force field. +12 defensive, reinforced and can't be targeted by plot twist. The big fellow really carries his weight then. Get a few characters with range behind him, they can;t be attacked unless he gets taken out first.
