For those of you that use binders to store cards, how do you choose which to include?
Do you just put Foils in the binders? Foil Rares? Rares? Uncommoncs and up? Or just cards that have some trading value? I'm curious as it seems one beccomes bogged down with excess Vs. playing cards quickly, and carrying too many in a binder would be a waste.
Well I dont carry cards in a binder anymore, but when I did we only caried foils/rares/ultrarares/etc. in the biner, and c/uc in a box or something else. The cards were usually sorted by card #, or superstar logo.
Rares and all foils (by rarity too) into binder pages; pricey cards into clear sleeves then into the pocket pages for extra protection from dirt that can get into the binder slowly but eventually, plus it helps cards from siding out.
Commons by number or colour/name; depending on the game, into those cardboard card boxes and uncommons depending on how many boxes I buy go into those clear plastic 100+'s count boxes.
I like to be able to put my cards together easy; got a cheap deal on binder pages(and the sets aren't so big yet), so I use all the cards in my binder, 4 in each slot, with preference over foils. Extra commons/uncommons get boxed, along with army cards past 4.
I keep my sets displayed in binders. The rest I actually play with because i am one of those geeks that likes to have a variety of decks just to goof around with. i am collecting one of every Vs. card they release but other than that i am a pure player, not a collector

Wow, that sounds exactly like me. And I thought I was the only one crazy enough to squeeze four cards in a slot. :)

Then put in cards that are popular, or very useable (i.e. flying kick)
that's almost exactly like me
i put my rares and rare foils first
first the rares w/ most demand and value
then rare foils, then rares
then i hav my foil commons and uncommons
and lastly some good commons and uncommons
like Flying Kick, Acro-Dodge, etc..
just in case some needs it
or i feel like trying them out in my deck if it needs just a little something

Ahhhh, they fit fine. I'll even stuff all my rares in there; granted, there's not too many rares I have more than four of...and way too many I have less than one of. I even tried to stuff army cards in, but found that 12 wild sentinels in one slot requires tools and patience to extract. Annoying little buggers.

Basically, I have 1 Binder for all my Foils and Non-Foil Rares. Then I have a 2nd binder full of Commons and Uncommons by Card #, w/ up to 4 of each card. The rest go in order by card # in a Shoe Box w/ a Rubberband around them.
I have a four pocket zipper binder for my rares and foil rares that i take every time i go gaming. I then have 9-pocket binder (that was originally some kind of scrapbook thingy from my mom) that i keep my foil commons and uncommons and foil rares that will never get traded (anyone need a few foil blastaars? didn't think so...) in, and non foils for the foils i don't have. everything else is in those spiffy little white cardboard boxes. I recommend that if you don't have your extra foils in binders to put them in sleeves, weather its penny sleves or deck protectors, cause as you sort through them they seem to get scratched.
My main problem with binders that have commons uncommons etc is you have to filter through the junk to find what you want. the yugi kids used to any the daylights out of me with all those junk cards that no one ever plays, let alone trades for.
I'll shut up now, before i ramble on much more.
I put everything that isn't in a deck in a binder. That is how it is so far with VS. My older CCGs (Star Wars, Star Trek) are boxed. My binders aren't really organized, but my most valuable rares are usually towards the front.
