I'm planning on being at this event, however, it looks like the website for the Tournament Organizer, ehevents.com, has been hacked.

Anyone know the address of the store where this is being held?

The store was supposed to Midnight Comics, but when I called today they told me it was cancelled due to renavation...=/

I have no idea if they are going to make a new date or just cancell it all together...=/

Oh my gosh you're kidding, right? Locke is supposed to be the head judge for this and he hasn't said anything about it being cancelled... This really screws up my plans if that's the case. I skipped a PCQ in Waco last weekend because of the holiday and planning to go to this one.

The TO has assured me that it is not going to be cancelled. There was mention of a slight possibility of the venue being changed. Check back here and I will keep everyone updated. You can also keep an eye on their website: www.ehevents.com

It sure is funny how when I called, they said:

"We are sorry but that event has been cancelled."

You called the store, and not the actual event organizer. The store employees may not have a clue what's going on, but like Locke said, the TO did say that the event might have to be moved. Hopefully farther north. :)

I hope that Houston has a PCQ. Unless Austin has one. I skipped the Waco one just like fatalsync to potentially play the one in Houston.

Event Horizons is Midnight Comics...=/

Event Horizons is certainly not Midnight Comics.

Event Horizons is a tournament organizer for Magic, YGO, and Vs. They primarily run events in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Louisiana (New Orleans and Baton Rouge).

Midnight Comics is a game and comic store in Houston where Event Horizons runs most of their Houston PTQs.

I've contacted the TOs and will follow up with more info.

GGGRRrrr!.. i skipped the san antonio and waco PCQ but wnet to the atlanta one while on leave, and now the houston is cancelled or changed or something?

i hope i find out soon, cuz i need more PCQ experience, or in other words, i need to get my butt whooped some more.

So far no word, Locke says he's going to call again today, and I'm going to call myself. It's a little late to be moving the event, surely they would have announced it by now.
