Has UDE stated whether they will have separate events for both systems using only those cards or will there still be just one event using any cards available. Being the purist i am, i am not one for mixing characters although i have no problem with plot twists. But c'mon, Marvel and DC are separate universes and all. OK, so i'm showing the nerd in me now :confused:

It's right in the rulebook...all VS. cards are tourney legal. That isn't to say that they WON'T run separate Marvel and DC events, but I'd say those would be in the minority. Even the sealed games are mixed IIRC.

i bet they will never seperate the 2 universes cause they all have the same backing and that means the DC set was just an expansion for the marvel origins set. It seems segregated for comic junkies (like me) but for gamers it means nothing more than a larger card pool (which I agree with)
