I am thinking about adding an 8 drop to my deck. The Demon and Apocalypse both seem like good candidates to me. Can't decide!!:ermm:

I'd go The Demon. 8 endurance loss that late in the game can't help your opponents out at all.

I think Apocalypse is better Though you could always play a few games with each and play off your opponents reaction, which one did they say, "oh $^#%" to =).

Apocalypse, 9 times out of 10. If you are planning on playing to turn 8, then you probably haven't put your opponent into a position where the 8 endurance loss from The Demon is going to make a huge difference. Stripping their resources down w/Apoc is most likely a bigger hurt.

If you just want to drop some 8 drops in your deck, then you are probably playing a fun deck, and Demon8 is a lot more fun to play with and against than Apoc. Go Mojo/Deathstroke!

I would really just go with Onslaught, even though he is a 9 drop.

Right off, you see Apocalypse with his huge KO 2 resources ability- but then you have to realize that as late in the game as you are- losing 2 resources isn't nearly as harmful as losing 8 enduance (or all of your resources- means there will be no plot twists coming out)....

it depends on the type of deck you are splashing it into. If it is a normal deck where you hope to finish people off somewhere between turns 5-7, but want an 8 drop just in case....definitely demon, becuase many games will go to turn 8 and someone wont have the endurance to pay, so they will lose resources. Plus, that 8 endurance can make the difference....the 2 resources wont. If you are running a slow deck. where you plan on winning turns 7-9, I would go with apoc....because then the resources will hurt on the later turns. If you dont want to go past turn 8 then what good is he, besides getting rid of a good location or something.
