I currently play Heroclix, but am very interested in getting into Vs. as well.

What do you sugest I purchase, to get started?

This is a very great game, and a good investment, like Dniknam said, you should definetely buy a starter deck first. The best starter to buy right now is the Marvel X-men/BHood deck, it costs around 9.99$ znd is sold on most hobby stores ad some retail stores like Toys R Us.

Once you get a starter deck, read the rule-book a few times andsee if you can understand it. The best thing to do i grab a friend and learn how to play together, makes it more fun and sometimes easier to get the hang of it.

After you've done that, pick a team you want, marvel, or DC. Find a place that sells packs and see if you can buy a box, keep the cards you know you'll use and trade for the rest. Or, if you dont need that much, go online and buy singles.

Lastly, check here often for strategies and updates :)

I'd definately recommend the Marvel Starter. The Spiderman starter isn't as useful because the cards aren't all out yet. The DC starter... its weak. I think many agree that while the DC teams are good, they'll take a lot more tweaking to work than the initial Marvel ones.

The spiderman starter is alright but unfortnatly there arn't to many support cards for it at this percise moment. However if u love spiderma like I do then I say by all means give it a purchse.
