I'm new at this game, and I was kinda looking in to making a Doom deck. While going through my cards, i came across The Power Cosmic.... What's the use of KO'ing all my resources just to gain initiative?? And is there a good side to KO'ing all your resources at all? Thanks

You use it on a turn when your opponent has initiative, but IF you had the initiative you could win the game.

The best use for it is probably the good old "Ambush from the Sea." You have even initiatives and its turn 7. Your opponent recruits and then makes his formation, which ideally includes one or more characters in his support row. You recruit Sub-Mariner in your front row, then flip or play Power Cosmic so that he can get in 2 or more attacks and hopefully win the game.

It's not so surprising once you've seen it done, and most good players will evacuate the support row on turn 7 when playing against Doom.

Do not play it, unless you can win by using it.

People do tend not to see the advantage of this card. The "Ambush" tactic is the most popular, but on turn 6, this card can be just as deadly. Having 6 drop doom and a doom bot or two already out can ensure victory.
