i have installed all the mtg stuff and the patches but i dont know how to make a deck i have tried installing VSed but when i try to run it it brings up an Application error and says it failed to initilize properly thx for any help

Okay do this:


Run MTGPlay


Click Deck Editor

At the top where it says "spoiler" click their, and it'll give you a list of cards, double click for the cards you want in your deck, and click save deck, and thats you done.

Can you be more specific about the problem with VSed?

I have the same problem too. Once you try to run VSed, it says " Failed " and some other stuff, its missing a few files that should be unzipped to WINDOWS, or something of the sort. I'll try and take a screen shot of the progran when it says "failed".

That sounds like you are missing one of the Windows updates, either the .NET extensions or the MDAC update.

MayB... Is the software needed to play VSPlay?

MTGPlay may need the MDAC update on some computers.

.NET is only needed for VSEd. If you have Windows XP, you already have it. Users on 98/ME/2000 will need to download it.
