Hello.

I puchased a starter deck for my son and I. I play games with my son, Video Games, Yugioh, chess etc.. and now we added the VS game to our list of activities. We started out on saturday. Is there a tutorial/walkthrough of a basic match out there. I remember buying my son a yugioh pack that came with a cd with some basic rules/instructions etc. Was hoping to find something on here that could explain some steps, common stuff that newbs like my son and I dont get right away etc.

For starters I am still a bit confused about the atk/def since i see a whole lot of post about minuses and stuff and that threw me off. Are there any faq's that would answer most newbi questions and some that newbs should ask?

I'm told the tutorial on UDE's website is pretty good at covering the basics.

With the starter deck you should have gotten a basic rule book and a large poster that has a lot of info on it. If not, you can download a basic rule book from UDEs site,

is exactly what i was looking for. If anyone has the ability to sticky or create a faq thread with this info i think it will help lots of other people. Unfortunately it only list but so many cards. But the breakdown of the text (I like to think of it as holding my hand like I was dropped as a child through the game), does help in understaing the way the game works allot better. Anyone more info is always welcome. My son and I would never be tournament material but we like th play the games the way they were intended to be played.

LMAO, Every game should come with a demo like that. My son and I were playing it all wrong. We were treating it like a Yugioh game. The book wasnt as helpful as the demo. Thanks for your help everyone. Once again I would stickie some of this info to avoid similar posts like mine popping up.
