can anybody tell me how much the tickets are for Gen Con indy and how much it costs to enter the PC

i need to know because if i go there i need to know how much money i would have to bring

indy gen con is 70$, PC is free, it is an invite only event. also, invited players have a badge from upper deck so we can go there and play we dont pay 70$. if we are eliminated, we have to buy another badge if we want to keep going there and play in other events.

Are people at Gencon actually going to know about the free badge? Because people at Wizard World Chicago were clueless about any gaming related event. I just don't feel like getting hassled about it. Also, are the badges good for walking around the convention while matches are not going on? A smokers gotta smoke, ya know :P

man, a badge is a badge. so i guess you can walk around... that's until you are eliminated.

wait so the PC is an elimination tourny like if u lose one match u are gone

also i just got qualified for the tourny at wizard world so how would i get my badge

no. friday is 7 rounds constructed. if you win 4 matches, you play 6 rounds saturday (draft)

then, top 8 sunday

oh really thats cool im pretty sure i could win 4 matches also the other 6 rounds on sunday is free right and the the tourny on friday is too?

yeah, it's free if you're on the invite list.

One more question, on my packet and in the players invite list they mis-spelled my name, will I have any problems getting a badge and what-not? Or should I email someone?

From the contacts at UDE i've talked to, you only get a badge for the days you play. This means you will have to buy one for Thursday if you go early!!!

You can check in for the PC on thursday from 3-8pm so i'm sure you can pick up your friday badge then.

I'm not sure though, if you get knocked out if you will just have to pay the difference for the remaining 1 or 2 days or what.

I would e-mail UDE right away. Even if it is tommorrow or whenever.

holy crap, gen con is tommorow isnt it!! dang, oh well. i wan hopping to go, not to play in the pc but maybe on some other stuff. lol. oh well.
