Why are people saying that longshot needs to be fixed/banned/erratta'ed?
He doesn't seem too overly powered.

Longshot is overpowered...
he creates tremendous card advantage 4 army decks
simply stick in 2 very redundant characters and Longshot
...there you go, u basically hav a swarm deck

he's uber powerful,
dont get me wrong, he's great 4 sents, but he is a little overpowered
i personally would like 2 play a curve following sents deck
but currently a Wild Vomit is much more playable

I don't think banning him is needed. Maybe just curve the Sent's better in WOSM so we can play without Long more often.

Swarm decks need alot of cards to fuel them. Take the card draw mechanic and take the swarm decks with you.

Errata him and add Loyalty. Although it'd make him unplayable turn 1... well...

If you change Longshot in anyway to make him unplayable on turn 1, or unable for Sentinels to play him Vomit will die. And Longshot isn't so broken that everyone must complian about him.

add discard or reveal another x-men character card to recruit him and he's fixed plain and simple or you have to have another x-men character card in play for him to activate his effect. basically those are the restrictions for sabretooth feral rage, wolverine 3 drop, and alfred. anyone of them would make longshot balanced

what Kanga said. Basically, this whole thread is people upset that they got Vomitted on. Longshot is an annoying character. Everyone knows that. That doesn't mean he's broken or overpowered in any way. You have to make a whole deck around him to get him to work right. That is NOT overpowered. Vomit is hardly unbeatable, so why is everyone getting riled up here?

I guess it's because Sentinels are getting even better in the next set.

How can anyone say that Longshot is too good? Has any Vomit deck won a PCQ (if I am mistaken replace any with "any but a few")??? Cards like Flametrap, Reign of Terror, Total Anarchy, Finishing Move... stop all the fun. I would say, in the current game, Longshot is far from broken or even needing modification.

Well, I also feel that Iceman's Cool Customer will put a kink in the late-game for that deck. But almost too late.

What about- "Activate, discard an x-men character ---- the rest of the ability..."

im going to say this, Longshot is a deck type. This isnt about how he is the only shot sentinels have (by the way, he is the only chance they have), most of you are complaining about the deck thinnage they provide, well, sorry to break this to you, but there are cards out there that steal cards from the hand, the new Ice-Man, cracking the vault, museum heist, tons of xmen cards, etc.... Lets stop talking about changing Longshot, cause to be honest, he isnt worth jack in an xmen deck.

How about, Lonshot stays as it and quit complaining, everyt time a card is good somone has to complain about it on this forum.

word. And if you're so scared about Vomit, pack a few Scarecrows and watch the Sent player cry like a girl on turn 6.
