Bah again. Flame Trap is errata enough. Besides, leaving Longshot whole makes them stay very careful with army cards. Leave him be, he didn't homogenize the game at all for the first PC.
I am a Sentinel player and I think Longshot needs to be fixed, but not the way you suggest. I think his activate should put him back in your hand if he hits or have him go back into your hand if he gets attacked.
As for Sentinels, I hope they get a new 4 drop. I wish the Sentinels had an alternate build other than Wild Vomit.
Longshot is not broken. Either you have a lot of 1 drops, or you have to guess and get lucky. I think he is fine. If you miss him a few times, then you'll lose. Just ask stu. I think he missed like 4 times in a row, so he lost.
Tempest, your wish will come true in two weeks. And, unless there are some insane army characters, the Longshot issue will not be as hot. On second thought, it might be hotter than ever. Either way, you can dust off your Trasks now.
Sounds like you have what I have. I didn't pay attention to the accidental slideshow at the PC, and I have had a few people give me updates about the shiny purple... I only know about those two so far.
even if they give sentinels more options for a curve deck, it still might not be better than vomit, i mean when vomit hits it hits and very few things can stop it. but the things that can stop it stop it hard!
so unless they either fix longshot, or make the new charachters, and thus the curve deck, way better than anything vomit can offer, this debate wont go away anytime soon.
Indeed. And, now that I think about it, I don't know if there should be a debate at this point. It makes Sentinels Tier One, but I was the only one of 15 decks to win money at the PC. Where is the banning neccesary there? Sure, your local metagame might be dominated by it... so you run Common Enemy.
If they slip with a strong army card, however... watch out. (Or if they give us a way to search for Longshot without teaming up, of course.)
Hey why are all of you guys trying to mess with sents they are a very good team and with longshot they are sometimes unstopable if they get the momentum it's all downhill from there.But it is very easy to slow them down just pack some flame traps or total anarchy even mad hatter for the arkham players.
Total Anarchy is not quite as scary as it looks. Of course you could combine TA with Flame Trap and make me lose my lunch, but the BBH in my first round of the PC had Anarchy both games and it didn't slow me much at all. I did have Reconstruction Program to get the Longshot back if neccesary, maybe that was it.
