Hiya,

I just got a 1st edition Marvel Origins box in the post this morning... at least I HOPE it is, because that's what the listing said it was (and an Unlimited one was cheaper). There is NO indication on the (shrink-wrapped) box that it's 1st edition. Should there be? If so, where? I don't want to open it if it can be avoided, because if it IS unlimited, it's going back. I don't want a refund for the difference (don't want any unlimited edition, ever) or to be told I opened it so I can't return it if at all possible.

So then, how do I tell it's first edition without opening the shrink-wrap? If it isn't possible, I guess I'll have to open it up...

You should be able to tell by the top of the boxes. Bottom right corner I believe should show 1st Edition in bold. Just like on the packs.

If you do not see it, send that crap back for a refund.

Marvel Origins 1st edition boxes dont have any indication on the box that they are 1st edition.

The Standard Edition or unlimited edition will show a Standard Edition on the upper right half of the box cover.

So if you dont see anything on the upper right half that says an edition, it should be a 1st edition box.
