So what does everyone think of the spoiled cards so far. I am not impressed yet. Doesnt seem to be anything that good yet. Do you think they are saving the best for the last?

I'm seeing two excellent new teams being revealed before my eyes. The incredible defense-oriented Spidey team and the insane attack-at-all-costs Syndicate. I love them.
Then I'm seeing nice additions to current teams with a lot of interesting twists and curveballs in there.
What are you expecting? A card that wins you the game? Not every card needs to be a Savage Beatdown.
Personally I love this set so far (props to their art director btw), and I also think they are saving some of the best for last (why wouldn't they). If you don't think the cards they've shown are "that good" though... don't know what to tell you.
yeah, this new set look awesome, from old teams getting exactly what they need, archangel, tri-sentinel.. to the great two new teams, the Sf and SS both rock, and they each bring something new to the table, i think this could be the best set yet.
IMO, this is quickly becoming my fav. set. Two great new teams, new play mechanics (ei..evasion) and new characters to strengthen already existing teams. What more could you ask for? :rolleyes: Well.....I guess you can't satisfy everyone.:)
Not very good in the current environment. So far the best sentinel decks I have seen have been vomit. This card being a 3 cost does not fit in a current sentinel build. Plus effect is turned of if stunned. Who really plays flame trap? Maybe good for overload, but not so fast is much easier to use. Stats are good.
Sentinel Mark III ™ (MSM-134)
2 drop army card with week stats. Effect is good for sentinels, but only when attacking. Could possibly fit into a vomit build.
Lyja ™ (MSM-139)
Cannot imagine how this will be a good card. She is a 3 drop, and in FF, the 3 drop slot is taken by thing. Stats are average. You lose board control when you use her effect. I cannot figure out how she is good in a skrull deck.
Mojoverse (MSM-153)
Very nice addition to the unaffiliated team, I like this one.
Sunfire ™ (MSM-107)
Stats are low for a 5 drop. Good against weenie decks, not good against much else.
Silver Surfer ™ (MSM-114)
I love this card, stats are excellent. Gives FF more strength, but not sure they really needed more strength.
Marvel's First Family (MSM-116)
Not a very useful card at all. The effect is ok at best.
Decoy Program (MSM-129)
I see some possibilities with this card. It is an equipment card though. Could possibly be in a new doom army build. Not too bad I guess.
Devil's Due (MSM-130)
By itself not a very good card. Koing a character for +1/+1 is not really worth. But could be good with 2 or more on the board. I can see this shining in a doom army build.
Dangerous Experiment (MSM-094)
TH Cost is high. In addition you must exhaust a SS character to use. In addition you lose 1 endurance for each card. Only good if you know what PT is coming.
Get Him My Petsss (MSM-096)
Not really that good unless your trying for a SS stall or KO deck. You get to KO, 1 character. Leaving the rest of your exhausted SS characters open for attack. Blah.
Goblin Glider (MSM-097)
Currently you wanna hit every drop on the curve. This card is only good if you recruit 2 characters the turn you plan on using it, used this way it could be powerful.
Lion's Den (MSM-099)
Paying resource points has yet to be proved a good idea. Cant see this being a good card.
Rejuvenation (MSM-101)
Not bad for gaining endurance, but at a cost of exhausing a character. Dont the SS wanna attack?
Archangel ™ (MSM-103)
Could be the 5 drop xmen need. I see some possibilities with this card. Defense is weak though.
Nice Try! (MSM-064)
Excellent card for SF.
Carnage ™ (MSM-072)
Loyalty is bad. Stats are good. Effect is booty. ALL characters benifit from this effect. Cant figure out how that gives you an advantage.
Chameleon ™ (MSM-073)
This card is great for SS team ups. Love it for that reason only.
Jackal ™ (MSM-078)
I love the effect of any card that lets you add characters to the field, but must use it during the recovery phase. The draw back of this card makes it very situational. I am hoping that they have yet to spoil a spider clone army card. Now that would be fun.
Kaine ™ (MSM-079)
Stats are good. But this card is very very situational, only good against SS. Bah.
Man-Wolf ™ (MSM-081)
Nice effect IF you have initiative. Boost is great if you have initiative, if not he is below average for a 5 drop.
Mysterio ™ (MSM-083)
Love that effect. Stats are below average though. Could be a great card.
Sandman ™ (MSM-084)
Nice stats and effect for a 6 drop. Second effect is very bad though, and could make this card not playable.
Shriek ™ (MSM-087)
Shriek does not benifit from its own effect. That sucks. Stats are ok, effect is nice, but it works for ALL characters. Heaven forbid you are playing against a swarm deck.
Cloak ™ (MSM-035)
Stats are low. Plus it has loyalty. Effect and boost are not really that good. You have to be defending for his effect to go off. And his boost puts him in the 8 drop slot with very low a/d value.
Firestar ™ (MSM-039)
Low stats again. Effect is ok, but it stuns your characters as well.
Human Torch ™ (MSM-041)
Nice stats and effect. Bad thing is losing endurance, and on turn 5 that is probably not that good of an idea. But I like it for a 5 drop.
Iceman ™ (MSM-042)
Nice stats, excellent card and effect. Only drawback is you have to use the effect during the recovery phase.
