i'm wondering of this card affects also the charcaters that you have in your ko pile,hand and deck as well as those in play...Thanks a lot for your help!

Play Tower of Babel only if you control a League of Assassins character. During each player's attack step this turn, that player's characters that do not have the League of Assassins team affiliation have no team affiliation.

ToB only affects characters and characters only exist in the In-Play-Zone.

So in short, it does not affect those in your KO Pile, Hand or Deck.

Adding to Chad's correct response, characters only exist in the support and front rows of your formation.

Character cards in your resource row are resources, not characters.

However,just one question parallel to your answer:

If characters only exist in the In-Play-Zone,how can you make something like Bat Signal in your deck since they wouldn't be supposed to be characters but just cards??

How about this one.....

Death Stroke the Terminator says
"Characters you control that do not have a team affiliation have the Deathstroke team affiliation."


How would this interact with tower of babel?

The modifiers would be applied in timestamp order.

If TOB was played after Deathstroke, TOB would function as normal.
