Okie I don't get this. This card seems completly pointless. You basicly negate and attack but they opp rereadies and is free to attack again? So why wouldn't they just attack again? I mean what's the point of this???

Consider it a counter to pump cards.

I attack your Spider-Man with Sabertooth, Feral Rage. You have no reinforcement, so i don't want to miss my window, and i play Savage Beatdown. Heck, maybe i'm silly, and i power him up with Lost City, too, before you get a chance to say anything. You smile, and say, "Pass to resolve."

Then you play Sticky Situation, my Sabertooth resets, and i'm down a Savage Beatdown and a power-up when i attack again. If i attack again.

It does similarly clever things against other splashy effects like Teen Titans Go!, though the mechanics are left as an exercise for the reader.
