Okie this is taken from the FAQ

Plot Twist, Threshold 1
Ongoing: Locations cost your opponents 1 more to flip. Plot twists cost your opponents 1
more to play.
This does not change a plot twist's threshold cost, just how much you pay.

So my question is how does Bad Press and other similar effects work then?? It says the threshold cost stays the same?? So then what does the card do/mean when it says they cost more. I first assumed it ment raised the threshold cost but the FAQ says it doesn't? Can I please get an example of how this works?

It adds one to the cost that must be paid, e.g. Acrobatic Dodge would have an effective threshold of "2", however, it would still be Not So Fastable, because it would still have an actual threshold cost of 1 or less.

Acrobatic Dodge will cost your opponents 2 to play instead of 1.

However, effects looking for the cost of a card will use the printed value, not the modified value.

So AD can still be NSF'd even with Bad Press in play.
