Is anyone else disappointed with the Moleman card? I was hoping for a small team like Skrulls or Negative Zone, but obviously that didn't happen. Anyone have any opinions?

Oh, come on, he obviously has potential; you should check out Dark Lord's custom card of Moloid. If they actually make that as Moloid, I'd play the deck w/ Bad Press, Thinking Outside the Box, and every random ongoing plot twist I could muster to make the Almighty Mole Man deck! And, considering how ridiculous he would be if you played out your hand, I would think the susceptability to flame trap would just have to be accepted.

Although I'm sure that Mole Man will come out in bigger numbers later on; I mean, they'll probably have him as the 5th team (like sents are F5) in the next big set (250 cards or whatever MOR was).

Speaking of which, wasn't the beginning of Ultimate F4 just so awesome? I loved how Mole Man was done in that.

I liked the Ultimate Moleman, but I still like the original better. It is interesting to see other peoples interpretations of him though.

I'm thinking his maximum potential might be in a specially designed Spider-Friends deck.

They have three stackable ongoing plot twists.

The only problem with the custom Moloid is it can be abused to gain a resource.

But its cool... :)

Well, Moloid is not a real card, but theoretically, if it was printed as such, you could Have A Blast! a Moloid to put the top card of your deck face down into your Resource row.

Oh, I get it now. Maybe they should have an anti-plot twist ability to get around that, an ability like the new Sentinel Captain.

I'm a bit of an FF fan as well...but come on...this is Mole Man. As a character, he wasn't big on power. He just had a ton of moloids backing him up.

He's Mole Man.

He's -not- that powerful.

The card is fine.

Moleman's card isn't that great.
But, it's not as bad as it could have been.
