Marvel knights is a "line" of comics featuring certain charcters and touching on more mature story lines then their previous incarnations while still existing within the main Marvel universe. This is dissimilar to the MAX line which frequently "revamps" characters to putting them into extremely adult situations. I'm also pretty sure that Shang Chi and Luke Cage both had there comics in the MAX line and not the Knights.
So here is a partial list from the marvel site of comics in the knights line of comics.
Black Widow
Black Widow II
Blade
Bullseye
Daredevil
Doc Strange
Elektra
Ghost Rider
Iron Fist
Jessica Jones(started in the MAX comic Alias)
District X(which focuses on bishop)
Dracula
Sabertooth
Wolverine
Fantastic 4(actually its just called 4)
Madrox(as in the multiple man)
Incredible Hulk
Sentry
Inhumans
Marvel Knights was first a team book involving the characters mentioned in the first post then was turned INTO a line of comics.
And as for the original question, I never read the series but in the B-98 rumor/confirm thread for Marvel Knights the set someone had Dr. Strange included with the team.
thats where i am confused because i read the first comics with the characters i listed but my friend was telling me about blade and ghost rider and we argued about it so i wondered. guess we were both right
Well first off the team of heroes featured in any of the books never actually called themselves "Marvel Knights" the purpose of the team-up books were really just to tout the rest of the line. To my knowlege the most common antagonist in the team up books was the punisher. Several of them have daredevil assembling some heroes to take him down once and for all. usually they end up teaming with the punisher in order to stop something worse or at least more immediate evil thing.
